Frequently asked questions.

How do i get started?

It all starts with a complimentary 20 minute phone call to see if we’re a good fit to work together. We’ll talk a little bit about your situation and what you’re looking for, I can tell you more about how I work with clients and answer any questions you may have. If it turns out we’re not the right fit, I will help you find other options to meet your needs.

What do you charge for services?

My rate is $225 for a 50-minute session. I do offer sliding scale options to select clients in need. If cost is a challenge for you, please ask about my sliding scale openings.

do you take insurance?

No, I am not paneled with any insurance companies and do not take insurance. I do provide Superbills that clients can submit to their insurance company for reimbursement, if this is something your insurance company offers. If this is something you need, I recommend contacting your insurance company in advance to see if they offer reimbursement for therapy.

do you see clients in person?

At this time I am 100% online, seeing clients in California and Oregon via telehealth.

How long does therapy take?

This answer is different for each individual! If your goals are straight-forward and your motivated therapy can be fairly brief, maybe a few months or within a year.

If your goals are more complex and/or you prefer a slower pace, therapy may take a year or more.

Please let me know what is important to you and we can work together to create a treatment plan that works for you.
