Parenting is not for the weak.

parent coaching

Parenting is the most important job there is. And the hardest, most confusing, and absolutely underpaid.

Parenting these days is HARD. The world isn’t what it used to be. We’re all missing community and family support. Our kids are on their phones 24/7 getting exposed to who knows what. We just (barely) survived a global pandemic and distanced learning, missing out on valuable social and academic skills. And everyone has an opinion on how to do it “right.” In the meantime most of us just want to go take a nap.

I grew up always hearing “parenting doesn’t come with a manual.”

But now it does. 1.6 million of them. So how do we know what parenting advice to follow?

I help parents find ways to parent their kids in a way that feels aligned with THEIR values. I don’t give cookie-cutter parenting advice because no two kids and no two families are the same. I spend time getting to know each family and situation thoroughly so I can support my clients in finding the path that will work best for them.

I treat all families I work with compassion and respect. I’ve heard many stories of struggle over the years and have experienced my own challenges, and even trauma, with my children in my own parenting journey.

We are all doing the best we can and we all need a little compassion and support.
